Sryptos PWA Now Available for Desktop
We're excited to announce that you can now install Sryptos as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your desktop computer. This brings a faster, more integrated, native-app-like experience to your secure conversations, whether you're on Windows, macOS, or Linux.
What is a PWA?
A Progressive Web App is a technology that allows a website to be "installed" on your device, giving it the look and feel of a native application. It runs in its own window, has an icon on your desktop or taskbar, and can offer enhanced features like offline access and better performance. This technology is a cornerstone of the modern web solutions we build at BHK Vision Labs.
Benefits of Installing the Sryptos PWA
- App-like Experience: Launch Sryptos from your dock or start menu. No more browser tabs.
- Enhanced Performance: The PWA can cache essential application files, leading to faster load times.
- Offline Access: Read past conversations and queue new messages even when you're offline. They'll be sent as soon as you reconnect.

How to Install
Installing Sryptos is simple. If you're using a supported browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge:
- Navigate to the Sryptos web app.
- Click the "Install" icon that appears in the address bar.
- Confirm the installation, and you're done!
Alternatively, you can always find the installation option in your browser's settings menu (usually under "Apps" or "Install this site as an app"). You can also navigate to Settings > App inside Sryptos to find an install button.
